I don't think that there really is a right or wrong answer as long as you do what your conscious dictates and not because of any kind of social pressure. If, as a Christian, you can attend a gay wedding and not see it as an endorsement then I see no problem. On the other hand, if you are strongly opposed and it would compromise your beliefs then you shouldn’t attend. You need to make sure that it is your conscious that dictates your actions. To many Christians compromise their beliefs because they are afraid of what society might think.

A fun fact about people who fervently hate Christians: They usually have absolutely no reason to do so. If you ask them if a Christian has ever done anything to them personally...blank stares. I ask them if they were once beaten up by a band of roving Christians or if a Christian once tied them down for a week and made them listen to Bible passages. Nope. They'll usually recite some dubious "facts" about Christianity as a whole but nothing that was ever done to them personally. They might even have a tale or two about some "Christian" that they knew who was a jerk but again, nothing personally happened to them. As far as I can tell, the biggest reason that they cite is that they feel Christians are hypocrites. So in actuality, you could say that they really hate hypocrites, not Christians. The only problem with that is everyone is a hypocrite in some fashion. It's just human nature. So if you hate all hypocrites, you really hate everyone (including yourself) Just food for thought.
It literally drives me up the wall when people accuse God of "allowing" evil or "allowing" starvation or ask why He doesn't do something to alleviate all the suffering. That's what WE are here for. The better question is why do we allow all this to go on and do nothing about it. God has given us a great tool to combat all of these problems, our minds. Every time you walk by the homeless and do nothing, every time you see evil and just shrug and say nothing, God is up in Heaven saying (and I'm paraphrasing here) "HELLO, what are you doing? I helped you out and you're doing NOTHING? And you cry to Me every night and ask why your prayers aren't being answered? You want everything from Me and your not even helping those I placed you on earth to help?" Or words to that effect. Just out of curiosity, why do you never hear anyone complaining to the devil as to why he is causing all this suffering and hate? God's reward is ire because He doesn't do enough and satan, the one who is causing all the misery in the first place, gets a pass. What a world.

I agree with the author of this article. It's about time that we shed these archaic notions. As a matter of fact, why don't we just do away with the concept of sin altogether?  Let's not stand for anything. Forget Christian principles and ethics.  Why should we care if a persons actions send them to Hell? Hey, as long as they feel good we shouldn't interrupt their good times with such ugly concepts as sin and morals. The actions of another Christian apologist in action.

I've noticed a lot of articles attacking Christianity this week (of course at Easter). Well, I've got news for those people. You have been trying for 2,000 years to destroy us, the Bible and Christianity in general but you have FAILED. You can attack me verbally, you can attack me physically, you can even try to dissuade me from my beliefs. I am not going anywhere! Happy Easter :)

No, I am not leaving Christianity. I have decided to become the Hollywood, liberal news media version of a Christian. The next time you see me I will be in a long robe, have long, stringy hair and I will be holding a big sign that says “REPENT OR DIE”. I’ve also scheduled some book burning parties and will be holding a special event entitled “You are all sinners and we hate you” to be followed by a 30 minute lecture on how to forcibly convert all of those hateful blasphemers.
I will be asking (demanding) your support on some new legislation as well. I (we) want to make prayer and bible reading mandatory in all schools and federal institutions. It will henceforth also be illegal to not wear a cross. I will NOT, however, make conversion to Christianity mandatory. If someone does not wish to be a Christian they will simply be banished to a fenced in liberal city of their choice (aka “Escape from New York”).
Isn’t it funny that even though I have never heard of any Christian even espousing any of these ideas, that is how we are portrayed? If there is any way, shape or form that the media can portray a Christian in a bad light then that’s what they will do. Let’s take a look at the movie “2012”. The President prays, he gets a battleship dropped on him. Thousands of people gather at the Sistine Chapel to pray, the buildings fall on them. The pilot of the airplane lands in the snow, it stops at the edge of a cliff, he offers a prayer and immediately the airplane falls off the cliff and explodes. Of course the “sensible” scientists and politicians all live. I’m sure glad that there is no conspiracy to demean and marginalize Christians.

This is just sick. If I posted his comments I would probably be banned from Facebook yet he gets a TV show? You will never see me call for a boycott or encourage people to write and call someone but in this case I think it's warranted. ABC needs to know that we will not tolerate this foul-mouthed rabid Christians hater to further spread his disgusting brand of intolerance and hate.
