This might be funny if it wasn't so sad. So how do we determine who's a boy or girl? Since anatomy doesn't play a part, do we see what kind of toys they play with? How about a unisex outfit to wear until they become old enough to tell us what gender they are? No wonder the youth of today are having such issues. Instead of just letting them enjoy their all to brief childhood, we indoctrinate them with all kinds of nonsense that they are not mature enough to understand. Just because someone can be a "tomboy" or act effeminate, that doesn't mean they are confused about their gender. Everyone has a different type of personality usually influenced by the way they were raised. This issue is just being raised by a bunch of "adults" who are trying to use their influence over children to further their own political agendas. Frankly, anyone who would use a child in this manner should be deeply ashamed.

How do you feel when you see this story? Does it make you mad? Does it make you want to to go out and protest? I think it's a red herring. I have never heard one story where one person was saved by seeing "In God We Trust" on a dollar bill or a cross on a water tower. Instead of using our energy trying to convert lost souls, we are using an inordinate amount of energy so that a cross can be displayed on a water tower. When the day comes that they say I cant have a cross in my own front yard, then I will have an issue.
If every person who was a Christian put a cross in their own front yard we would far outnumber any displays on government property. If you feel strongly about this issue, lets start putting displays on our own properties. You would see a wave of crosses that would literally cover the landscape. That would have a bigger impact than just a few displays on a couple of government buildings. Don't get caught up in outward displays of our faith. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is not our true calling.

This is just part of an ongoing campaign by people who are misusing and misreading the Constitution to try and remove God from all aspects of our lives. Trying to force churches to preside over gay weddings, trying to force Christian groups to accept non-Christian leaders, trying to force Christians to forgo their beliefs in order to accommodate universalism. Satan is gathering his forces in an unprecedented attack on our freedoms. He isn't concentrating on Buddhists or Muslims but on Christians. This in itself should tell you that this isn't about the law. It's about Satan trying to diminish and destroy Christians by making our activities seem criminal and even destructive to our way of live. In other words, trying to make Christianity out to be the exact opposite of what it is. Don't be fooled. This doesn't have anything to do with equality. It has to do with Satan try to subvert this nation in to something that will serve his will, not God's.

People can be so foolish. So they actually believe that they can abolish God from the world. As long as one person remains faithful, as long as one church survives, as long as we refuse to accept their hated of the things that God has ordained, then the torch of God's will remains. They cannot destroy it not can they diminish His love as long as we remain faithful.

What's the big deal with sin? These Christians are so hung up on it. Don't think on impure thoughts. Why? Well, not only do they denigrate the opposite sex, they also lead to unhealthy and sometimes downright harmful activities. STD's are so commonplace because having multiple partners or homosexual relations are the fastest way to spread them. Dwelling on impure thoughts leads to an obsession with pornography which has ruined many live. So it's detrimental physically as well as spiritually.
This is the most obvious example. What Christians call sin are actions that not only have moral implications but physical ones as well. That is why God has such a "hang-up" with them. Not only do they cause separation between us and God, they also affects us in ways that are so insidious to our own well being that they preclude us from living a happy, healthy life. There are medical conditions that are not brought on by unclean living, but those are in the vast minority compared to those that are brought on by continually and unrepentantly living in sin. Just food for thought ~ DG

I think we are going to remember this as a bad week for America. I am no fan of Obama but I would rather he just finished out his term than go down from multiple scandals. His bad policies we could reverse over time. The damage this will do to our government at home and in the foreign relations arena will definitely weaken us as a country. I can't help but think that if the general electorate was more conscientious and our media had at least made an attempt to to be impartial we would not be in this mess. Now more than ever we need to be on our knees in prayer asking God to restore the blessing that he once bestowed on our country. In my humble opinion.

It amazes me that people don't know how special they are to God. When Jesus died on the cross, He wasn't just thinking of mankind in general, he was thinking of you specifically. "Now the word of the Lord came to me saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you."  (Jeremiah 1:5).
I know some people who don't think they are special or who think that they have no propose in life. Nothing could be further from the truth. God wants a personal relationship with each and every one of us. As we rely on Him, He also relies on us to come to Him and and be His messenger to a sick and dying world. He relies on us to spread the same love that He has for us. There is no greater calling than that.

"Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death. And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles"(Acts 8:1).
Did you ever wonder about the families of Paul's victims? Here was Paul killing and imprisoning followers of Jesus and doing it with joy. There must have been many people who prayed to God for Paul's destruction. There must have been many people who feared for their lives and prayed to God to save them. And what does God do? He forgives him and accepts him as an apostle to do the His work.
How infuriated would that have made you? Would you have the ability to forgive Paul after he killed your son or daughter? Would any of us be able to walk up and give him a big hug and welcome him as a brother?  To be perfectly honest, I don't know that I would be able to forgive Paul after some of the atrocities that he committed. That's what makes this one of the greatest stories of forgiveness and grace. If we relied on our own judgment instead of God's judgment to determine who is saved, there wouldn't be many (or any) people in heaven. We are not capable of that level of love. Only God is. If He could forgive Paul after all that evil acts that he committed, then why would we have any doubt that God would not forgive us?

Did you ever think about why people are so attracted towards sin? More people seem to have the attitude that they would rather party in hell with their friends (they're in for a big letdown) than be in boring old heaven. Society has made the bad, good guys (basically good characters who accomplish their means through bad behavior) people that others want to emulate. In affect our society is doing everything in it's power to make sin attractive. They conveniently leave out the health effects, diseases and mental problems that are associated with sin. They are on a sin now, pay for it later plan. We on the other hand, have put our sins behind us, accepted Jesus and God's grace, and enjoy His love for all eternity. I just wish I could actually share my heart with non believers so they could feel for themselves the love that God has put in my heart. Just talking to them I can't convey that feeling in to words. It is just to grand.

I find it interesting that those who hold to liberalism often declare that it takes "a village" to raise a child but also celebrate single mothers. They also fail to mention that 83% of all abortions preformed are for unmarried women. While I am ecstatic that there are women who chose to have a baby as apposed to an abortion, that still does not excuse the fact that children who are born in to a traditional marriage have a much better chance for success in life than those who are not. While I do understand that there are circumstances where it is unavoidable, my personal opinion is that these women are only thinking of their needs as apposed to the welfare of the child.

The most important thing that we can do is to help others. What good is the love and compassion that Christ showed us if we do not share that same love and compassion with others? How can they be expected to believe that we are children of the most holy God if we do not show the same attributes that God's Son did in His ministry? It's very easy to love those who love you back. The true test comes when you show love to those who revile and detest you. Only then can we show others how deep our love for them  truly is. We don't do it because we are required to. We do it because that is the love that the Lord has placed in our hearts and we want to share it with others. "If I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:2).
