Republicrats

“What it takes is political courage,” Corker said on “CBS This Morning.” Why didn't anyone think of this before. All we have to do is capitulate on every issue and vote with the democrats. That way we will win. Complete and total surrender. We can hide in our own intellectual Maginot Line and pretend what we do really makes a difference. In lieu of the tax pledge, they can write a new pledge.
I pledge to completely and totally surrender everything that we stand for and betray all those people who have kept is in power for so long. Henceforth, we will no longer be called republicans, we will be known as repulicrats (or rats for short). Furthermore, as a subsidiary of the democratic party, we promise to strictly adhere to and bow down at the alter of socialism. Anyone not adhering to these principals will be deemed a traitor and enemy of the state.

Goodbye Republicans

I am going to do something I thought I would never do. I officially give up on the Republican party. They think they lost this election because of conservatism when the problem was that Romney was a faux conservative. Think of all the attacks on Romney.  They weren't about conservatism, they were about his wealth or Bain Capital. Yet all around the country Republicans are now going with the "if you can't beat them, join them" philosophy. Since they seem so willing to abandon their base, I will reciprocate and throw in the towel on them as well.
They are trying to play both sides against the middle. They want to keep their base of conservatives while abandoning everything that we stand for. Not on my watch. My beliefs are not something I change on a whim just to placate those who don't share them. They do evolve from time to time, but the core of those beliefs remains intact. If the Republican party changes there beliefs because they want to garner more votes, and not because they honestly believe in those changes, then they are not the people who I thought they were. I want no part of a group that holds their collective fingers in the air to determine what they should believe.

Succession

I can understand the sentiment, but I won't abandon my country because Obama was re elected. We still have the midterms in two years. If we win those, we can essentially "declaw"  the Democrat agenda.
The enemies of the American way of life are salivating over our divisiveness. I don't agree with Obama and the Democratic party, however, we are still Americans. At no point in time has it ever been more crucial that we stand together, pray to God that he does not forsake us, and forgive those people who we don't agree with.
Jesus died on the cross and took the punishment that we deserve so that we may be saved. The love that he showed us is the same love that we need to show others. We can't do that by abandoning them. Let's not forget that our true enemy is satan and that DIVIDE and conquer is his credo.

Freedom of the Press?

I am so tired of hearing about the press and their first amendment rights. That was created to make sure the government doesn't control the press and insure it's right as an independent entity. Those days have long since past. The media is so corrupt and biased that have lost any right to be able to print articles as they see fit. We need to revisit that clause and make it more applicable to today's political environment.
If they choose to act as just an extension of either political party they should be treated as such. There are rules governing what political parties can and can't do. These same laws need to be applied to any news organization that decides to unabashedly campaign for a political candidate or party.

How conseratives can win the next election

It’s not about us, it’s about them. When we get to the point where we will lie, cheat and steal to win an election that’s when we will prevail (of course we will never do that). When we have the media on our side to cover up our mistakes, to sugar coat and lie about our policies and act as just another branch of our party, we will win. We don’t need to worry about OUR ethics, we just need to find a way to overcome the extreme bias in the media. Until then, no matter who we put forth as a candidate, the liberal media will just crucify them and twist everything they say. We need an all out war (figuratively speaking) to once and for all put the mainstream press in their place. Until that happens, I don’t see much hope for our party.

Why Romney lost to Obama

So what did Romney do wrong? He stuck by his morals and didn't cave to pressure from the liberal media to change what he stood for. What did Obama do right? He bought the union vote (not that it's very hard) with the auto bailout. He bought the vote of minorities and the poor with the promise of free health care (even though we won't feel its full effects until this year). The conclusion for me is that we won. I would rather die this very minute than trade my principals for monetary gain. Those people who traded their ethics for the promise of wealth, I truly feel sorry for. Mathew 6:19-20 ""Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal."
